I'm from Guatemala and had to leave my country due to the violence. I started classes in BSU with almost no English and finish my BA being Top Ten Student. This semester I will finish a MA in Literature. I worked with all age children, from preschool to highschool, teaching Spanish. I also work for The Cabin teaching creative writing to children. My passion is writing. I helped women who wanted to write. From this reunions the idea to publish their work was born. I couldn't find a place to do it, so a friend and I created a small publishing house. Now I work alone and keep publishing whoever comes to my door. My most recent publication is the product of working with street children and working chindren in Guatemala. I don't don't absolutly anything about Nicholas Carr nor Slavoj Zizek. I just heard about this conference a few minutes ago.
